Here's a big bit of juicy gossip to throw on the rumour mill on a Monday, courtesy of Dave Baumann at [link=http://www.beyond3d.com]Beyond3D[/link], who spotted the below quoted post on ATI's section of the Yahoo! finance boards.

    The merge would be great. Disregarding the AOL-TW aquisitions, most tend to work out fine.

    Has any of their boards even been released? What happened? They just kinda flopped out.. Must be that SiS curse. Hopefully ATi's mojo cancels it out and they won't hurt ATi :D

    Oh JOY. ATi getting an influx of talent *cough* *hack* *gasp* from SiS/XGI. I have a feeling that a merger would be a total disaster.
