Pentium M and Xeon 2004 Roadmaps
[blockquote]As Q1 begins to draw to a close, we have one more Intel roadmap to add to the mix. You may have already read some of our other [link=http://www.anandtech.com/cpu/showdoc.html?i=1948]Intel[/link] and [link=http://www.anandtech.com/cpu/showdoc.html?i=1947]AMD[/link] roadmaps from earlier this year. Intel also recently got some attention in our [link=http://www.anandtech.com/IT/showdoc.html?i=1982]server shootout[/link] between Opteron and Gallatin/Prestonia cored Xeons.
We have hinted at Nocona, Potomac, and Jayhawk earlier this year and in other roadmaps. Just as a small refresher, Potomac is the Xeon MP replacement scheduled for Q1 '05. Nocona (for 1P and 2P servers) will show up next quarter, while Nocona's successor (Jayhawk) will show up in 2005. The Pentium M derivatives are based off Intel's Dothan core. [/blockquote]

PS we need to get a list of committed buyers so we can get a volume discount from Radisys.
PPS and a custom BIOS with full multiplier, bus, DDR, AGP, PCI tweaking control.
PPPS this is Geeky's idea, he just forgot to post it
And yeah, I mentioned to Drasnor the idea of doing a group buy of those RadiSys boards, but if I were "in charge" of it, It'd have to wait until this summer...
Intel is having problems with it's 90nm process. It's adding to 2 metal layers to it's Northwood based p4's & Xeons to extend them into 3.6-3.8ghz range. Similar to what AMD did to the TbredA to create the TbredB
