Anyone know where to find very detailed gpu info?

I can't seem to find any of the info I'm looking for... specifically, the maximum thermal dissipation power of the Radeon 9800 & Pro, 9700 & Pro, 9500 & Pro, 9600 & Pro, 8500 & LE, 5900 & Ultra, 5800 & Ultra, and the 5600 & Ultra GPUs... I'm thinking about putting a pelt on my next video card, but I want to make sure the cooler can handle the pelt and the video card, and the only way to do that for sure is to know how much heat the card can put out @ stock speeds and extrapolate...

If you re-arrange the basic equation R = ΔT/Q (derived from Ohm's Law), to represent Q = ΔT/R, you can calculate the total heat dissipation from any electrical device (measured in watts).

R denotes the thermal resistance value of the device.
Q denotes the total heat dissipation of the device.
ΔT denotes the temperature difference between the device being cooled (GPU) and the thermal management device (heatsink).

//Edit: That ΔT is "Delta T".

The thermal resistance of what- the cooling system, or the chip? (I'm inclined to think it's the cooling system, but I'm not sure)
