AMD A64 Mobile Chips on Newegg

No heatspreader on this guy. Wonder if that allows for any modding. Like a Mobile Barton but it has the same voltage. Socket 754.

    Probably doesn't do much for modding, but I'll bet that the lack of a heatspreader lets it run cooler...

    that core looks huge.... but that's probably me, i've never seen a socket 754, how big are they (relative to socket A/462)?

    36mmx36mm = 1.42inx1.42in (smaller than socket A)

    Cores are bigger but the whole chip is smaller.
