    Good stuff, Terry! Excellent.

I remember the original thread I posted in July (?) 2001, titled "Who Wants to Start..."; it continued in the body with, "...not just watch, but....". It was amazing how quickly the interest picked up. Tbonz and DragonAce were instrumental in the organization and leadership in the first few weeks, with Tbonz as our first captain. He assumed leadership naturally, with energetic, enthusiastic followers. (Who was it that actually registered us with Stanford as Team Icrontic, team 93?) Was that you Terry?

Well anyway, when I posted that thread, I had NO IDEA that such a quality Team would germinate and become a major force in a significant, world-class, world-scope research project.

I also remember proposing in a thread that we pool our unused computer parts to build machines to be exclusively used for Folding. I figured that if the idea caught on, we might end up with two or three machines. 'Two or three' machines comprised the intial ICX Project; but that was only the breaking in period for the team members' generosity and team spirit. Holy cow - we are in the 20's now - SMX Donated Computer Project! Other teams have used the SMX program as model for improving their own production! Yes, it's been that successful. Hat's off to the early administrators of that project that turned it from an idea into real computers turning in real results. (Who was the first administrator of ICX?)

Every time I think we've passed a watershed that won't be surpassed, the Team just gains more resolve and we progress to greater achievement.

From the bottom of my heart, I humbly offer a my sincere gratitude and admiration to all you members who have made this team such a fun, positive experience. Few things like this come along in life. What an honor to be associated with such good people.
