Zalman Reserator 1

edited March 2004 in Science & Tech
With room for improvement, the debut of the Zalman Reserator 1 gives hope to all of us who hope and plan to be watercooling this summer.

[blockquote]Today we are going to put a highly interesting product in focus: the fanless water cooling from Zalman. Zalman is a brand well known for their silent products, and they have even introduced CNPS (Computer Noise Prevention System), which contain a whole series of products. Earlier we had a preview of their passive case, and now it is time for the next item; the fanless water cooling. Some label this as passive, however it is not as there is an active pump that circulates the water in the system.[/blockquote]

Well, if it's so silent, the only forseeable problem would be that the damn thing might stop working and you'd not know :D!!!

    Looks good.

As long as it's enabled it would.

And if you used even a VERY low flow fan on it, the performance would improve substantially. Put a 120mm Papst or Panaflo L1A on it undervolted to 5v and you'd have outstanding performance while maintaining the silence...

Judging by the size of the thing just setting it next to an air vent would suffice.
One 120mm fan would be hard pressed to move air over the entire Reserator
