Yes, I was referring to the 2nd definition. I didn't know there was any other definition. Now I need to figure out a way to work the first definition into everyday conversation

In Denmark we do not hear all the slang expressions, because English is not the native language. There is a lot of slang in Danish though.
For example we use kilometers and litres instead of imperial measurements. We also use Celsius instead of Fahrenheit.
There is a lot of room for confusion.
