My latest board (that I never bought...)
I ordered a refurbished Gigabyte 760MPX dual athlon board from Newegg last week, and (predictably) a package arrived a few days ago.
That package contained a motherboard, although it couldn't have been much farther from what I ordered... Newegg sent me an (apparently new) ABIT IC7-G Max II Advance i875P P4 board...
I called them, talked to a manager, and they refused to send me a new Gigabyte board, and they didn't have any of the refurbished ones to send me. So, I told them that I'd be keeping the ABIT then. They gave me another $25 off, so I ended up paying $106 for a $160 board that I never ordered. Not the resolution I wanted, but it could've been a lot worse...
Anyhow, here are a couple of pics. One of the board & accessories (w/o the manuals, which were hiding under my laptop case... ) and one showing that there is no way I'll be getting one of my mobile 2600s to work in here, let alone 2 of them, short of a sledgehammer...

As much as it drives you nuts, I've been wanting a P4 "toy" system (to go along with the dual pIII and dual athlon systems [which will hopefully become 2 dual athlon systems the next time I order a dually board from newegg]) for a while. There are two things that have kept me from buying one:
-The cost of i875 boards
-The cost of P4-Cs
The first one has been taken care of, and refurbished P4-Cs are pretty cheap.
I could understand it if they had checked with you first.
I could almost understand it if they had sent you a similarly-featured dual Athlon board.
But this? I'm shocked.
'tain't right...
