Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu
Anyone know how good of a hsf this is? looks to be a bit heavy, and i guess it doesn't have variable fan speed, except when you have to go in a change it urself. would the weight have any effect, like would i have to be careful when moving my case around at all? i was actually thinking of getting a tt spark 7+ but i have no idea how well that performs. right my 2.8c is at 3.2c running 20*C idle, but, obviously, i want to push it further with minimal temperature increase. not sure how much my ram can do yet (512 corsair value) but we'll see. if anyone know of a equal or better hsf for preferably less (read: much less lol) i'd appreciate it. thanks

I have 2 of the 7000's. 1 copper/alum and 1 all copper. The copper is a lot heavier than the copper/alum.. But I have used each of them on the same computer, and see no real difference, in cooling.
I see your looking at the all copper. If you move your case(lan party, etc), I would be hesitant to use it. Also, if your doing serious OC, this may not be the HS for you. I have a 2600 Mobile, got it to run 2.5, Folding stable, but temps were in the upper 40's.
So, for little or no case movement, mild OCing, it's a great HS. Highly recommendesd. But if your going to be moving it, or pushing the proc., you might want to think about it.
