The biggest problem being that when I buy a new CPU, I want it to be faster than my previous one, but since I am pretty much running as fast as the fastest AMD CPU (a XP2600 2.08@2.25GHz), there isn't much I can do about that.
I guess the Barton would decrease my times per WU by at least 1hr.
You'ld get more bang for your buck with either a NF2 mobo or a Water cooling system.
Of course if you can find someone willing to take that CPU off your hands for a good price you can cut that upgrade fee down to a justifiable level.
