edited April 2004 in Spyware & Virus Removal
Hey yo,
I can't seem to get rid of this thing, and couldn't pull anything up on Google. Anyway, does anyone have any helpful info for gettin' this My Web Search off my system? Everytime I try through add/remove progs it just brings up an empty box.

Any help is much appreciated.

Use Adaware and SpyBot. Check to see if it got rod of it all with HJT. We have a Spyware forum. Post your HJT this log in there and someone will help you out.

    Alright, here's my log:

Also, does anyone know if there's some sort of spyware that comes with ThemeXP? I'm just curious as to if it's the source of my recent spyware issues.

    Thanks for the help!

Manually locate and delete each of the DLL's referenced in the "02" entries.

Next, run LSP Fix (download it in advance.) This will fix the invalid winsock entries.

Reboot normally, and check your browser and HJT to see if you are clean.

    Let us know!
