Me! Yes I know that it is bragging. But with a bunch of boxes all built with used parts and such I think that it is doing pretty good.
The fish will over take me soon, and a few others this summer. But I don't intend on letting up this production any time soon.
It wil be interesting to see what the new tinker point values do to overall output.
50k here I come.

Nice going, ed - you may be the most consistent producer on the team.

    :celebrate :fold:

Well it sure is fun folding here.
I found Icrontic four years ago when I wa looking to repalce an old P100.
I sure have learned a lot about hardware in that time.
Thanks for all of the advice and help.
I hope that I can help others as much.
Level headed leadership, decent moderation and a nice mix of people make this a great place.
The active participation by some of the 'not so young' crowd here is nice too.
p.s. We all need to watch out for Sally. She is just a bit competitive, isn't she Jon?

Congratulations on breaking into the "TOP 50", Ed. With the right gear, like a folding farm of 40 systems, it's not too hard. The way you have achieved this is quite the opposite. I would think time spent, determination and dedication is what is what it has taken to get you this far.

To you Sir, i take of my hat. :respect: Well done.

On a side note, yes, Sally is a bit on the competitive side. Combined with the reason WHY WE FOLD, she cannot be taken too lightly, lol.

Unfortunately she is not as agile as she would like to be and this has been a big learning curve for her and keeping the old grey matter very active.
Like another lease on life so to speak.

18 month's ago, all Sally could do was accounts, some spreadsheeting and word prossesing. Now she has turned into the proverbial neighbourhood GEEK, hehehe. Nothing is too much to handle anymore. Network guru, crash repairs, fresh installs, you name it she has a go. I can honestly say, i'm very proud of her and what she has achieved. She certainly left me behind in her wake, lol.

Anyhow Ed, this is your thread about your achievement, best i stop prattling. One of my strong (?) points, lol.

    Again, "Top Effort", mate.

Way cool, ED! Keep those boxes humming (hopefully not too loudly). :D

Did anybody say FIRE In The HOLE??? WHAT HOLE, he's helping fill part of it in-- I refer to the hole in cancer (and other things best not gotten) knowledge, that is... ;):D Keep on :smokin: on!!! It is folks like you-- and all the others on this team-- that keep the Sagoons a about year and a half behind from overtaking us, as of today. It is folks like you who will let us pass the Maximum PC Mag team before that by about 200 days-- at current production rates!!

CONGRATS, from the folder at position 81, who just passed Icrontic1 today.... ( jdii1215 is my F@H ID )

Congrats Ed!! My production (as MrBill) will cease for Team 93, so that's one spot in the top 50 you will take over very easily. ;) You were going to pass me anyway...:D

I haven't stopped procution - just changed the name the points are assigned to. My three (MrBill - 93) machines are folding as RIP_Kenneth.Hoye as of a few minutes ago. Kenneth Hoye is my father-in-law who passed away from cancer last October. One of my employees will lose his battle with cancer very soon and I will change one of those machines over to his name when that happens.

    Bill,

Thanks for continuing with the Team. Truly sorry about catastrophic illness hitting home with your family. I hope that you find dedicated folding to personally satisfying. Your way of warfare against disease?

It's become personal for me as well. One of my friends - I just learned about his Parkinsons Disease, is losing more motor function all the time now.

F@H is the only way I know to try and make a difference. We each have our own reasons for folding and for many of us, on this team, it is personal. That I can relate to.

    Changes to my post above:
    1 box - RIP_Mildred.McGinley (my grandmother)
    2 boxes - RIP_Kenneth.Hoye (my father-in-law)
