Team Short-Media Gets A Mention In UK PC Publication

So there i was reading a copy of June's issue of Custom PC magazine when I see an article on how they've set up a folding team & ask people to join. Then at the bottom it tells its readers for more details about folding to check out, and I quote, :

"....checkout Team Short-Media's funky flash presentation at www.teamshort-media.com/videos/foldflash2.html .."

My god we've made it into print. :celebrate

    w00t. Maybe we will get some new members from this. It says our team name and numer. Hopefully some new project members anyway.

    mmonnin, it's only the one line mentioning S-M, but I'll scan it for you & will post it later tonite, once my neighbour gets home. He's got a scanner, me too poor to own one :)

    Great find, Jimbo! Do they have a forums? If so, tell them we'd be glad to have them come fold under our banner and they can add a "Custom_PC" after their folding name if they want to show that they came from their site. ;)

    I've now just watched that flash presentation as I've never seen it b4. Big kudos goes to whoever did it, its well cool (Matt, was it you???)

    Yeah they do but its a very basic one.

    http://www.custompc.co.uk/ then go to the interact tab and then there is a forum tab, but by the looks of it there isn't much going on. Also in the article they state they want to set up their own team so I dont know how interested they'd be :(

    Edit: they've already got a folding team now having just checked their forum. :(

    I have to say congratulations to whoever put that presentation together - quite superb :)

    And no, I'm not folding for Team SM, but I am doing my bit.

    And kudos to this site for the PC Mag mention, good stuff.

    Yes but guys, the URL the magazine gave needs changing to say to people 'don't fold for them, fold for us!!' Give some easy to follow instructions to fold for team 93, and perhaps welcome people to browse the forums, and bobs you uncle, free advertising!!!!

    I bet we'll get some people folding for us instead of the magazine!

    Well I don't want to screw them over for printing the link for us. I think an unobtrusive link under the video is well called for though. I'll add it once the admins unfuxor the file permissions ;)

    Rogan, thought I'd just mention that CPC is quite a good mag. I've been a subcriber for a few months now and for mag that been going a short time you guys are doing well. Good articles, reviews and points of view & advice that, for the main, I actually agree with. Now can you dump your team and get everyone to fold for Team 93 please :)
