what are the pro's and cons of this? once i had it downloaded and security center poped up i got a message that said you need to download mcafee privacy service. hackers can take information off of your computer.....i thought thats exactly what the antispyware took care of. can someone explain this to me?

They are trying to make you buy in to fear. Don't be stupid and you wont get Spyware in the first place. Just be smart and occasionally use Adaware and Spybot.

Uh, McAfee wants to sell something and the privacy service is what you probably do not at all begin to need and AV and the antispyware will do more of what you want.

Anything with mcafee in the name is crapIMHO. They make this software for the people that are scared to death of hackers, pop up's and viruses.
