Look up the beep codes for the MB... clear the CMOS. Other than that, all I can say is pull it outta the case and start swapping stuff out. Different CPU first, try the old ram again, different video card, etc.

Have you tried what Geeky suggested? Look at your cards to see if one is seated wrong, like the vid card. It happened to me about 4 weeks ago.

You probably don't have the RAM inserted properly. You need to ensure that you insert the RAM firmly enough that the extractor clips close on their own accord. You do not close these by hand.

This has been a recorded annoucement.

the ram is inserted correctly, put the ram, and then the clips come out by itse;f, not closed by hand, the beeps supposed to mean CPU over heat, but i have reseated the hsf 2 times, reapplied AC3 2 times, still does the same thing.

OK next guess. You have the cpu fan on the wrong connector or something like that. Try disabling the warning thingy in the BIOS.

Did you clear CMOS? I seem to recall something about messed up FSB speeds after CCMOS (and something about a 100MHz jumper) on the nF2 mobos also... maybe that's it?

i did clear the CMOS couple times, even taking out the battery for like half hour, and i did check the CPU fan speed connector is connected to the right header, the weird thing is that beep supposed to mean CPU overheating, but i have reseated my hsf 2 time, carefully redid everything, GOD DAMN!!!!

Cool Canuck, only if i can get into the BIOS, i can fix everything, the problems, it can't even POST.

Slowly waking up after a long night shift. :) You got another fan you can plug into to that header? Don't know that board but ifen you got a couple of fan headers move the cpu fan to a different one and plug a good fan into the cpu header. Thinking that maybe the fan isn't sending a signal.

take no offense, that GOD DAMN was directed towards you, it was said because of the problems i'm having, i have tried what you said, but even if that is the case, i have reset my BIOS like 20 times, it would matter if the fan rpm monitoring plug in plugged in or not, because by default, it doesn't have that option on if the fan fail.

he he. Typo I hope. :)
Wouldn't matter. I got thick scaly skin.

Running out of ideas. Thinking you did something, but damned if I can think of what. I didn't check out the beep codes. You didn't knock the video card loose or anything??

Hate to see you haveta pull the mobo out of the case but that is what it is coming down to.

is the vid card within the RMA period? newegg has the repair and refund RMA categories. they will take it back just as the vid card, but most likely will give you a refund if within the appropiate period. if its within RMA repair timeframe, then IF they have ur exact card in stock the will ship that to you. the RMA's I have done through newegg for either wrong merchandise sent or a fubar product have all been refunds. then i just either purchase the product again(usually cheaper than the first time) or get a different product.

newegg has an excellent RMA program. just make sure u ship the product back with plenty of padding etc. once they recieve the item they usually refund/ship within 3 days

my vid is within RMA period, when i did the RMA thingy, it only showed repair, and i i looked every where on their site, i don't see ym vid card at all, but if they do do a refund?? how much are they gonna refund, cause i boguth the card for 300, it be sweet if they give me full refund, but i would like a 9700pro too, haha.

looks like your past the refund period...so they will most likely send u back a comparable Ti4600...but looking at their site, i dont see crap for 4600's. see ive never RMA'd anything before that newegg still didnt carry...so it might be that they will send it off to nVidia to be fixed/replaced then send you back the model/make u got that way...that would suck cause thats very time consuming...i would hope newegg would give u a store credit...but im unsure about it... sorry couldnt be more help.
