Dragon, yep that looks to be it but i don't remember doing it that way. thanks anyway.

Mine has gone from my sig in my profile & on of my boxes I get a runtime error box popping up everytime I look at a thread on S-M; on the other box i just get a message in the bottom of the window saying "Editor initialized for Internet Explorer in 0.0... seconds" ...Wierd.

Lynn, are you trying to admit to something here. :)

    A little while later...

OK so i tried to generate a new sig but it just wont work, everytime I save it into my sig it just disappears. and then I get the runtime error popup asking if i want to debug. THe only way to stop this happening is if I turn off viewing sigs in my profile.

    Jim,

Go to internet explorer options, advanced and untick the display a notification of every script error and see if that fixes it.

    Hey Nec,

Thanx, the tick box was already unticked but I disabled script debugging above then went and made my sig again, switched sigs back on & hey presto my sig is back .

    Thanx mate

I have no backup evidence to this statement, but I suspect sig errors may have something to do with vB replacing html 'img' tags with their vB equivalent. That happened to Clutch's sig a bit ago and I have no idea how it did. If you ever go to edit your sig and see vB tags, though, that is the culprit as the javascript won't like that much.

I am starting to see a pattern here. I believe the WYSIWYG editor is breaking the sigs.

I was having some issues, and I turned off the WYSIWYG and everything cleared up. Entr0py PMed me about a problem with his sig, and it turned out to be the same thing.

Jim, are you using the WYSIWYG editor?

    WYSIWYG editor
Is that TMFKAGK editor's cousin? :nudge:

Hi Prime, yes I am, should I turn it off?

I did, and everything is back to normal. I think the WYSIWYG editor is buggy....

I have mine working and if there are 2 Folding sigs at the bottom of this post, everything works ok. Must be an intermittant problem. (i hope).

    Edit. Yep, works ok.
