I went and bought a ATI Raedon 9200 w/128MB DDR AGP8x for $99.99 at the local BX on base. Is this a good deal or not?

You can get an OEM 9200SE/128 (Sapphire) from Newegg for $48-50; the ATI retail 9200/128 for $92.50. A few years back, I stopped even looking at BX/PX. Although their prices are competitive at times, it's only because there is no tax. But as far as variety and selection of products goes, AAFES is lousy.

(For those of you who are confused, "AAFES" is the Army, Air Force Exchange Service, the department store chain for the Army and Air Force, of which PX is Army and BX is Air Force. AAFES is the fourth largest department store system in the US.)
