It has been reported that Microsoft Press has been defaced this evening by a group named "Outlaw Group". Although the group doesn't seem to have caused much damage, this is clearly an embarassment for Microsoft.com webmasters.

Um, what URL was given in the report????

Base URL for Microsoft Press is inside Microsoft's Learning area from within US....

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/books/default.asp

And even the site menuing is different from here, than on that page-- is this another spoof page rehook thing the reporter encountered??????

    www.microsoft.com/mspress/

The fixed it so it redirects to the learning site. But earlier I went there myself and it was just down with a "Virtual directory listing denied".

I get that but generally if you say something like hey "Yahoo.com got hacked" and someone goes there your thinking like the main site, not like oh yeah its actually yahoo.com/subdirectory/othersite.asp
