I am looking for a better price than $19.95 unlimited qtys PRE-ship for the Thermalright SLK-947U. If no-one can see anything better, and wants to know who the HECK has this for this price, look here:

    I ordered 2 and roommate got one as well. Shipping was only like $7.80 for 3 HSs and it was $6.36 for one, so buy in bulk if you can.

    Probably 4-5, myself-- most of the boxes I build are the gen that fan is decent for. ANYTHING I Buy from SVC comes in 3-5 QTYs.... :) If I cannot keep shipping under 15% average of order, that dealer gets letter about profitteering on shipping to run artificially low prices.,... And no more business from me.

    The 947's? I'm too lazy to look it up right now. How do they compare to the 900's? The 947 is for Socket 462, correct?

    What Let quoted was in John's sig.

    The 947s are a step up from the 900. Maybe a degree or 2 I would say. Not much if any at all. They are required to be bolted to the motherboard.

    They may be a slight bit better performers than the 900's but were mostly designed to be a better "fit" on most boards.

    i just placed an order myself, since the price is so low, i just couldn't resist not buying them, and since i just got a new credit card, hehe, i just had to use it to buy something.
