That's about the same ratio I'm experiencing now. NOT GOOD - I've only got one Athlon Folding; the rest are Pentium 4s and Ms.

All of the 26 I mentioned are P4 2.4's in my lab ...I'll be testing my point output with these tinkers the next week and get back to let you know if it's worthwhile or not.

I'll save you the trouble - Pentium 4s need Gromacs.

Insain pointage. I have been puting up over 2400/wk for 5 weeks in a row.
Thanks largely to the Tinkers, I am all AMD. (well except for my P3 900 laptop).
When I started folding on a 900 TBird I thought that 150/wk was great.

Leo, my P3 folds Tinkers as well as, or better than a P4. What about the M's, I would guess that they are faster than P4 on Tinkers.

Yes, you're making my point! P4s and Gromacs are made for each other. P4s are not up to speed with respect to AMD's Tinker crunching ability; but a fast P4 slices through Gromacs like a hot knife through butter.

I really don't know how my Pentium Ms (Centrino system laptops) compare to my P4s when processing Tinkers. I ought to monitor that sometime. Problem is, the laptops are out of the office often, as they should be, on business trips.
