This is not very good temps, thing is, I have no idea how it is so hot with my HSF that I have and Arctic Silver Ceramique.
BTW that AS Cermamque is dangerous with P4's the CPU CLINGS to the HS as if it were glued, I wound up ripping my CPU out of the ZIF Slocket when I tried removing it the other day!!!!!!! Scared the hell out of me, and makes me wander how I am gonna take the HSF off next time without fear of pulling the pins off the CPU.
i've got an IS7 just like you, and i've got temps that are just as bad. if you read the ABIT forums, apparently they do some kind of modification on the read #'s, so they say subtract 10-15 degrees from what you see. now on the other hand, some people dont have crazy #'s like these.
my slk-900 w/ 2.8c, non-OC'd runs at 53.5 load, if that gives you any indication.
also, i've had the same problem with clingy thermal paste, ive ripped the cpu out of the socket 3 times! i'm surprised it still works..
