I just bought another dual opteron and I'm gonna have to sell my dual msi k7d with a pair of 2100+ AMD cpu's and sk7 coolers

If this even makes a decent folding rig (I don't know) get a hold of me fast if your interested in a rig like that as I will put it out at 2cpu.com or ebay in the next day or two.

MB, cpu's and dual sk7's without fans. $250. The sk7's don't have the goofy wire clips as I ran them with 80mm fans and those funnels adapter things to convert a 80mm fan onto a 60mm heatsink.

This is the later k7d with red pcb board and working usb. The early boards were green and the mpx chipset had probs and the usb didn't work.

Four ddr slots. With good DDR and not generic crap you can run two sticks of regular ddr. They love reg ecc ddr. And if you wanted I can sell memory or other toys in a package deal.

Tex, are those MP's Palomino or Tbred core? If those are Tbred core, then that is a great deal. A K7D makes a fantastic folding rig, BTW.

They are tbred XP's modded to work as MP's. Meaning unlocked and the L5 bridges closed. It runs 24/7 at my house and has for months. No probs its rock solid

And it would be the perfect home for that Elite 1600 64bit scsi raid controller. (grin) This MB loves them and has had more then a few live inside its case...

Overclocked to around 2200 MHz, that rig is good for an easy 1200-1500 points/week.

Just what you need to match csimon's output, prime.

That's a good deal, prime. I gave $160 just for my refurbed K7D when I bought it. Throw in 2 SK7's and 2 modded 2100's and it is an excellent buy. My K7D is a "set and forget" rig too, runs forever without rebooting.

Yeah, Prime, the K7D & K7D-L are outstanding boards. Hands-down the best 760MPX boards ever made. Ever.

mmonnin has 1'st dibs. I really wasn't into OC'ing these and pointed himto more info about the OC ability's. I ran reg ecc ram and built stuff to be reliable and run 24/7 and I have no idea realy what to expect when you OC these.

I bought the cpu's from Omega and this is one of the later red pcb board models that are supposed to be much better then the early green pcb models. Hope that helps.

Anyway I am holding it for MMONNIN till Friday evening so he can check this out further. I want anyone doing this to be certain its something they want to do and not making a impulse buy. I'm more interesested in a happy buyer then a quick sale.

The price includes shipping and insurance via prioity mail so depending on how far in the boonies you are versus a major city you should get it in two to three biz days from the date its sent. If it ships this morning you will have it Monday probably. If it ships Saturday then you will have it Monday or Tuesday if your in, or close to a major city anyway.

good luck to mmonnin. And please Geeky or Omega or anyone else with real hands on experiance with these let mmonnin know what to expect.
