tons on the market. I want one to add sleeving to both the molex and the atx cables from the psu.

Will the same tool do both? What tools have you used exactly and did you like the one you used?

Dissecting needle & jeweler's flathead screwdriver. Work great for the drive power connectors, work pretty well for the 3 pin fan connectors, they work for the atx connector, too, altho the atx connector can be a pain in the ass...

I was gonna go ahead and spring for one of the nice AMP or other make of tool just for extracting and inserting this exact size pin instead of trying to sort of make do with something else this time as I have several PSU's to do and it's been enough of a pain I want the real thing. I figure whil I have them apart I will go ahead and solder all the connectors and adjust the length to perfectly fit application also. I haven't spent the time to really detail one out like this in awhile but I thought "what the heck"

In that case, I'd pick up one of each of these molex extractors:

Thats more like the one amp makes. Their gear is alwasy top notch and heavy duty. They are usualy serious tools for the professional. I am debating that versus the one at svc for example. I need to go check out the links at svc back to the manufacture and read up some on it. For a third the price I'd like to read some more. If anyone had used one here that was the one I figured people would mention and I was actually sorta fishing for feed back on it in particular just because of price.

Yeah, the three tools at Cableorganizer will run you what, almost $61? It's steep, but I sleeve enough power supplies that I may just wince (I'm not going to grin at dumping $60) and bear it...

I use the black ones. 1xfemale and 1xmale. Work a treat. Now need the ones for the smaller ones.
