Better mobo company

Whats a better, more reliable company..Chaintech, or Shuttle... cuz right now i wanna get a 2500+ and one of these mobos

either the chaintech ofor 68 or the shuttle for 65...which do u reccommend for overclockability

    I've had experience w/ Shuttle and never had a problem.

    I don't know anything about Chaintech first-hand or even second-hand.

    Most benchmarks put them behind the pack, though, so if you're wanting serious performance you might want to shell out a few more dollars.

    We've got a lot of Chaintech 440BX boards @ my grandfather's business... to the best of my knowledge, they've been fine. I worked on them last summer, and they weren't fickle or anything like that. They aren't the fastest boards or the most OCing friendly afaik, but they seem to get the job done.

    IF I were to thnk about a Chaintech I would want 2-3 reviews on the one model and version I was thinking of. Some models are great, others quality is uneven. Shuttle seems to have evenly decent quality with the nForces.
    Since the Chaintech also has fewer PCI slots, if you do not NEED a micro-ATX board I would opt for the Shuttle.
