This week's topic: Windows Tweakers

Your input will determine the programs chosen to bear the proud title "S-M Approved", so make sure to vote!

Since none of us can get enough tweaks, this week we are allowing you to vote for more than one! (How generous! :p )

Please add your comments and opinions in this thread!

Note: Thanks for the great response last week! We had a clear winner this time, but your comments and all software receiving votes will be mentioned when the Short-Media Approved Utilities list is published.

Altho I don't use any of them anymore (I reinstall so often that it's not worth it) but when I did use them, I used TweakUI... still my favorite one...

I use Tweak UI, very simple and straightfoward.

TweakUI, is really the only one I use 100% of the time, but now I've discovered that new WINner Tweak, I'm thinking of retiring TweakUI. Nevertheless, I voted for both.

I voted for WINner Tweak. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, Spinner.

I had used X-Setup in the past, but it has probably been 1.5-2 years since I've even looked at it. One thing I recall is that it had tons of features, perhaps I will check it out again in the future.

I use X-teq 6.3 and have since v5.3 but only on my "real' computers a.k.a internet browsers etc. Since it relies on VB and I don't use VB on my stripped DAWs I do old fashioned manual tweaking from tips I learn on the net. For "other" I sight the www.litepc.com family of products which include 98lite and the soon to be released XP lite (Which may inspire me to convert to XP afterall):buck:
