You say you want NB coolers. Do you have space on board for a Blue Orb GPU cooler kit from Tt to fit??? Fanned, will cool ok-to-very-good for an NB, though it is not as robust a cooler solution for a very modern video card's GPU as I would want.... They are pretty economical, folks are realizing that they make decent to good NB coolers also. Good luck on the stock ones, though.

Actually, my plan is to find the stock passive nF2 NB coolers to replace the useless fans on the NB of a few old motherboards - I'm definitely looking for passive. Thanks for the offer, though!

I've never owned an nF2 board.... But, for HS passives, Jameco has quite a few kinds in stock-- and if you call tech support they probably can get HSs that will work for what you need (tech support folks there can do all sorts fo sourcing things as well as give model numbers for what is on hand). The older boards, for not-extreme-OCing, can be handled with a passive HS that Cyberguys carries, and a blue orb would be overkill for real old boards. Intel NB HSs from P4 boards that are bad should also work for an nF2 board. I know you want them for a reason, but cheaper to get what works instead of what LOOKS same.... Best of luck, though....

Other than buying up old junk nF2 boards, and salvaging the NB HS's, I know of no good way to get stock NB HSs for those boards, the mfrs typically use custom made HSs when they build those.

Passive NB sinks/passive video card sinks. If you've got the clearance around the NB and underneath your AGP slot, just order some cheap but large heatsinks from here . Get the large ones, and cut them down if necessary with a hack saw or other tool capable of cutting aluminum. You can fasten them to the vid card/motherboard with nylon cable ties/clips; or better yet, use Arctic Silver adhesive. I don't use active heatsinks on my north bridges or video cards, even with video and system overclocking. With passive though, ensure your case has good airflow.
