What the hell are these things?

I just bought two "things" at a surplus electronics store. I know what they are... your job is to see if you can figure out what they are.

Oh, and Shwaip, Park, and Kwitko are barred from guessing, 'cause they know too. :D

Pic (apologies for the poor quality; I couldn't find my CF card so I used my mom's Palm Zire 71 to take the pic :-/):

Some kind of bizarre pentium pro with built in voltage regulator and massive heatsink?

no, they're not inkjet cartridges, and they're not P-Pros of any kind. :)

(Semi-educated) guess sent via PM. I have something similar in my collection of <strike>old junk</strike> historical computer items.

Aww come on, guys. I'd have expected at least Thrax to get it. ;D

Lemme see if I can find my CF card so I can take a decent pic of them. :)

I knew what it was, but mmonnin answered before I posted, so no sense in posting again eh?

    So I went for humour.

    Bingo @ Thrax.

2 667MHz/1MB Itaniums. I bought them so I could sell them... the surplus store gave them to me for $15 each; I can get at least $100 on ebay. :D
