    Thanks, guys! :)

I'm honored to be in such great company.

Concerning relocating and shutting down machines. It's becoming stranger. I have two job offers: one in Portland, OR that is rock solid firm; the other in Anchorage, AK that is tentative. The job in Anchorage is a dream for me and has much better career (second career, yippee!) potential. And yes, my heart is in Alaska, ever since I lived there, 1995-1998.

The only firm date I have now that will impact my Folding is August 22, which is the date I am released from the Army to leave Augusta/Fort Gordon and begin my "Transition Leave". At that time, my family and I start driving either towards Portland or through Canada to Alaska. As it stands now, the movers are scheduled to pick up our household goods on July 27 and 28. We are leasing our current house; the landlord wants us out by August 1 so that he can find new renters before the next school year starts. So far, he hasn't had much interest by new renters, therfore, we might be able to stay in the house a couple more weeks. In that event, I'd be able to keep my home systems running that extra time before we leave. (My computers are going physically with us, as they are part of the ton of stuff I'll be moving myself in my cargo trailer.)

As I've said in other threads, I don't know what will become of the rigs folding at my office. I would imagine that production on those machines will eventually fall off, as no one else at the office is particularly computer literate. We'll just have to see.

Again, thanks for the recognition, my fellow Teamies!

I'm coming after you Leo. If you could just stop folding for a decade or two I'll have ya!

It's looking like I'll be able to bask in the top-ten limelight for four or five days before you kick Marc to 12 and me to 11.

Better watch it. My K7D should come in hopefully at the beginning of next week. That will give me an extra 2 GHz, maybe more if can find another HDD to use.

I have been waiting for you to make #10 Leo - but pretty soon I am going to have to turn my farm back on. :) Jack
