HiJackThis problems - eLaY

there seems to be one problem with removing.

the virus also closes down websites and programs and such that are related to removing the virus. it also edits your error options online so you cant search for w32.yama.j@mm, which is what the virus is called...

so my problem is, i cant open up hijackthis. it automatically closes. now what?

    Try renaming the executable for hijack.

    Highlight the HiJackThis executable, press F2, type in some random name with an exe extension, hit Enter, run newly renamed program.
