    Bitorrent (Azureus or G3 Torrent).

    In that case...WinMX for audio. It's crap for anything else. Overnet and/or mIRC for anything else.

    Bt -- Linux stuff, though rarely. Mostly just use good old-fashioned FTP from public servers-- where the files offered for sharing are legal to share.
