Slower folding when running with Daemon?

I have been running the Daemon for a while to get rid of the console from the tasklist but i have noticed that it doesn´t use as many cpucycles with Daemon as it does alone. Even the temperature is lower with Daemon.

I did these tests several times yesterday as well to confirm this with another type of wu so it´s not a fluke. Quite a big difference as well i must say. Almost a minute/step. The same services was running during the tests as well and i was only surfing and emailing during both.
Ideas?

(could it be that the cpu was put on low and not idle)
I run a console and a genome for backup with firedaemon. Nothing wrong there.
