what im asking is if that will all work together, and if i got everythjing i need...also could maby use some recomendations as well, but, i dont have unlimited money. as u might be able to tell, this is a buget system... with the 5.1 speakers, and keyboard and mouse, it totaled to $750.99... not bad eh? so ya... i need to keep the price loooooow.

the most extrame thing im gonna be doing on it is light gaming...nothing super duper hardcore...

seems like a reasonable selection..... why 2 optical drives though? You know the combo drive will read DVDs right? I'd ditch the DVD-ROM and get a 9800 graphics card instead of the 9600.

also, if you're not averse to some overclocking you could probably put together a socket A based system that would outperform your selection and work out much cheaper....

don't waste your money on the 256mb 9600....save some money and get the 128mb version....it performs exactly the same and is cheaper. 256mb on this type of card is just a marketing gimmick.

i also think you should stick to one optical drive.....you can find a NEC 4x DVD+/-R/RW for like $60. or an 8x for $80.

also, i have heard of many people having issues with kingmax ram and a64 boards. might want to switch to something like corsair valueRAM.

    good luck!

Bah I have always had 2 optical drives. I would like to put a 3rd in as well. DVD Burner, DVD player and CD Burner.

The configuration is basically good, but there are a number of things that are a really bad idea. Let me poke around a bit and see what I come up with.
