I read something about the tmr mram not long ago ...1:1 with the processor sounds unreal doesn't it? hehe

Not sure it even makes a difference anymore... I read in Computer Power User magazine a while ago that whatshisname over @ hardocp got the P4-C to a 1GHz FSB, with DDR running @ 1GHz (500MHz) and it had almost no impact on performance over the 800MHz fsb... If that's the case, then until the next generation of CPUs come out, it may be immaterial.
The big deal with MRAM is its non-volatile nature. Using this in your system would create almost instantaneous boot times, or more precisely, restore times, because the RAM would not lose the information on powerdowns.
