I want to get my son a graphics tablet. I got one before, a nsis g6, but it was faulty and sent back and never replaced. Does anybody know of a decent tablet?
The Intuos3 is the professional grade. Awesome tablet. If he's just dabbling, you can go for the Graphire3, with a 4x5 version in the $100 price range. I'm not sure what they'd run you over there, though.
Wacom gets my vote. I used one for a few years at one company when I was a video graphics artist. That one was high-end, and was huge, but from what I know from others who have used the smaller cheaper ones, they are great as well. There are likely cheaper options out there, but Wacom has been the industry leader for years, and their tablets are designed to last in the very demanding graphics and video production industries, so the price difference would likely be well spent.

I have a 12x12" Wacom Tablet, and it's great. I hardly ever use it (:-/) but it's an excellent tablet. I just need to get a new pen for mine because I stepped on the one I have the other day and broke it

Wacom
They make one for every budget.
Wacom was the only product they ever used.
I saw the name of this thread and the word "Wacom" was immediately on the tip of my tongue.
