ATI TV Tuner

I'm running an old ATI All-n-Wonder 7500 that has really bad reception from the TV tuner. I have tried direct line from the cable box, updated drivers, and a signal booster with no luck. At this point I am thinking that I just have to bite the bullet and buy a new card. I just wanted to see if anyone might have any other ideas or suggestions. Thanks.

Have you considered that it might be the cable service itself? I have the misfortune of having cable in the dorm at school and all I can say is dayum it's uuuugly. I miss my satellite :(

Yes. The cable service works perfectly fine at both of the other TVs in my house as well as the internet connection.

One of my good friends ran an ATI AIW 7500 in his old T-Bird 1200/DDR266 system for ages and his TV reception quality through cable was really ****ty too. Not anywhere near the clarity that was coming in on any of his TV's. We tried a signal booster, but it didn't help at all.

    FWIW...

Any suggestions for a quality card that has TV tuner. I see that some are strictly opposed to ATI products. What are my other options. Gaming is not very high on my priority list
