Making a Cooler Master Aero blower fit on a SLK...

Parts list:
4x 6-32 socket (allen) head bolts; I used 3/4" (19cm) bolts, but I ended up trimming them a bit. 1/2" (12.7cm) bolts ought to work too.

4-8 size "6" washers (I went with brass because that was all they had); you can get away without these, but I'd use at least one on the top of each hole. You can use another one on the bottom as well, but it's not necessary either

4x 6-32 nuts

Here's a pic of a SLK-800A with a blower on it. Temps to follow shortly.

With the fans on high, the 2500s in the dual athlon system are idling at 43 and 49*C respectively, which is about what they do with the smartfan2s iirc; the case temp. is 30*C, and the board reads a little high. I think the CPUs are both down around 40*C.

Whats the noise level of those Aeros? I have several SFIIs so I know how loud those are but I dont know if its justifiable to get those 2 fans to lower the noise level only.

I despise those sorry wire clips on the slk's. I started ujsing a couple spots of rubber silicone glue. Stops vibration and helps with noise and its still removable.

Its a good instruction thing you did don't take me wrong ! I just hate those wire clips.
