Enermax 475 died

I came into my office this morning and my main rig was not running. The last time I was greeted by this condition I had lost a hdd in my raid array. I was scared . After trying to restart it without even a beep or budge of any fans I started to dig a little deeper. I disconnected all power outs to mobo and drives, toggled the on of switch a few times jumped the green signal wire on the atx plug and turned the psu on. Nothing. So I pulled it out of the case and put it on the bench. It seems that if I "tickeled" the green signal wire it would try to start the fan. But If I jumped it no go. This being my main rig (Business ) It can't be down. So I ran to Comp USA and the only PSU's they had were thier brand ( which I heard were good )( Thrax ) But the biggest they had was a 350watt. So I got the only other choice which was a "SOYO" Raptor 400watt with some front panel read out for the 5v and 3.3v rails.

Does anybody know if these psu's are any good ? The craped out Enermax is only about 7 months old. Newegg seems to be having server problems today so I have been unable to see what kind of warranty the enermax had.

The Soyo seems like a well built unit. It is seems to be as heavy as the enermax. My machine is running now. (That alone makes it better )

Ideas anyone ,

I did check the fuse in the enermax, it is ok

The Soyo Raptor is supposed to be a decent PS.

That is good to here Geeky !

Newegg is back up now and my enermax had a 3 year warranty. I requested an RMA on it and it was approved. So back it goes.

    Thanks
