[t1rhino]These dust bunnies are breeding like crazy! Every week I have to clean out my case.
[kanezfan]I've heard other peeps report success with pantyhose.
[edcentric]I tried pantyhose, but they were so uncomfortable that I had to take them off.

"Beaver...an industrious creature found in the Canadian wild, on one side of the Canadian nickel and .... errr....well they're just everywhere dammit. (This may not translate well internationally as some people, like Shorty, may probably uses "Beaver" as some quaint UK slang for something like "pork chops" or "nipping off to have a pint.")

There was a command to poke a value into a register that would heat up some element on the motherboard until it popped, destroying your computer. So, you would write a program like:

    10 POKE 2343,12
    20 GOTO 10

    (I forget the exact values)

And run that, and in about 20 minutes, poof. Bye bye $2500 computer.<i>.. <a href="http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?postid=40366#post40366&quot; target="_new">primesuspect on the Commodore PET</a> </I>

The dye that is used in recordable media will eventually fade. It's inevitable. However, optical is your best bet. Do what everyone else says, and re-copy it every year or two until some kick ass new gelatinous bacterial DNA storage comes out. Also, be aware that "brains" or "smarts" have little or nothing to do with internetworking. Today's workplace is all about good communication and problem-solving skills. You might possess a CCNA, CCNP and even a CCIE but I can tell you this -- while these qualifications are good to have tucked away under your belt -- they come way behind how you communicate and work with others and how you react to unrelenting stress and pressure. Moronic and infantile behavior is not tolerated in the workplace, period.
