The Folding Pineapple is a monthly award, bestowed by the previous award-holder, on a monthly basis, for outstanding contributions to Folding.

:fold:What is the Folding Pineapple for?

The Folding Pineapple is intended to raise team spirit and morale for Team #93 Short-Media. Although we are already a team with great morale and dedication, the Folding Pineapple is a fun way to represent our wonderful sense of family that Team #93 has.

:fold:What does the Folding Pineapple look like?

It looks like... a pineapple! In truth, the Folding Pineapple is not actually a pineapple - it would go bad before it could be awarded more than once! Actual details of the Folding Pineapple will be divulged in photographic form shortly.

:fold:How do I get the Folding Pineapple?

All you have to do is make outstanding contributions to folding. The current holder of the Folding Pineapple award will recognize the outstanding contribution of another member by bestowing the Folding Pineapple at the end of the month.

    For Outstanding Contributions to Folding in September, 2004, I hereby award the Folding Pineapple to Vicodin. Vicodin has consistently shown dedication and team spirit, folding in 7th place for Team #93 currently. Additionally, Vicodin originated the idea of using a pineapple as a prize for folding. Congratulations, Vicodin, and the Folding Pineapple is already on its way to your home.

    I look in the mail and lookie what I got.

    Here's a hint... it rhymes with "sign snapple".

    I was wondering what took so long when I realized sending a manilla envelope through the US Postal system with the word 'Vicodin' written on the front probably caused at least ONE investigative delay.

    (chuckle)

    Now to put some film in the digital camera and snap a couple shots whilst I figure out who the magic fruit goes to next.

    Mmmmm! Reminds me of trips to Bangkok ... standing at the street stalls opposite the Hotel in the warm (hot! :eek: ) sunshine buying bags of crisp, sweet, fresh pineapple at just 10 baht a bag ... that was only about 25p ... or about 14 cents for our American colleagues. Very cheap but tasty! The baht is worth double that now so unless the price has gone up in the meantime, should be less than that. Problem is the cost of the airline ticket to go over to get it! :D

    Anyway all portions welcomed, although if it's based on points, I'll be back of the queue so hope some will be aportioned to wit, originality and enthusiasm too! ;D

    Oh and well done Vidicom on your award. Hope you'll be very happy but PLEASE don't eat all of it ... in the unlikely event that one day it might find its way to Manchester, I want the chance to get myself a nibble or two ... hmmm that's another story. Maybe it's not such a good idea after all? :bs: :buck:
