Awesome man. Ya, SB1's are cool bookshelves. We just released the new Synergy B2's and B'3. The product pages are not up on our webpage yet, so I can email pictures to anyone who wants to check it out, just drop me a line, symphonicreverb@yahoo.com The new Synergy Bookshelfs have a really sleek look and in my opinion, bring out the low end in a beautiful way.
Typically we are hesitant of retailer and manufacturer offers within the forums. Forums should be ad free but member reaction favors this price so who am I to stand in the way of a good deal.
Klipsch is a reputable company who have produced well liked product over the years.
SM is indeed in the process of working with Klipsch on a larger article. There are more questions beyond what other reviews have covered that need expanding on such as:
- placement and optimizing location
- sound dynamics (the layman's guide to what sound does in your room)
- Interpreting the specifications (Why one system may "sound better" on paper but doesn't in real life.)
- Which is better for you? 2.0 - 2.1 or 5.1?
- What makes Klipsch a premier product and how do the components blend together to form the Klipsch sound?
- What makes for good sound?
You know me...I can't keep it less than 10 pages.
I, myself, have one system hooked to a Rotel 910 AMP running through 5.1 Monitor Audio speakers. The "wife factor" sort of came into play after the fact. She walked in with me in the middle of the room surrounded by boxes and cables and manuals with a childish grin on my face. She couldn't care less about 5.1 sound but couldn't stay mad at me for long with that boyish charm and the fact that I spent my own money and not "m'ours."
6 months later is was the HDTV...again...I shoved in one of her favorite flicks (Finding Nemo) and gestured stupidly at the TV grunting like Tim Allen. I think it was my decision to buy...in reality...she let me.
I thought I'd let everyone know this as well. When searching on pricegrabber, etc some people run across the $145.99 deals. As warned before, THEY ARE REFURBISHED. Our $149.99 system is brand new in the box. The websites offering the refurbished systems(even though they don't tell you they are refurbished) still cannot beat our prices! I've had our factory reburbished systems lowed even deaper to help those of you out with not enough money to go brand new. click here to check it out!!!! ONLY $99.99!!!!!!!!!!
