watercooling questions

edited October 2004 in Hardware
i recently installed my new and first watercooling rig and it is great but there is something bothering me, everytime i look at my T line the extra water in my system(the one that goes up the T) seems to slowly dissapear everyday. i know is not because of leaks because i put plumbing tape or teflon in every single connection and also my computer works so anyone have any ideas, is this supposed to happen because of evaporation?

What type of tubing do you have? Silicone?
Silicone is known to "sweat" a little, but not as fast as you say though. Gotta be a leak somewhere.

no i bought the cheap nylon from lowe's is 1/2 inner diameter and every tube connection is cover in teflon for leaks, i recheck and there are no leaks, but there is some condensation in my T line. also the tube gets warm sometimes.

Then the problem is almost certainly evaporation.

Yes, evaporation is the problem as Geeky said. I thought you had it closed. Fill it up and close it.

lot of the time theres air trapped in the radiator that takes a wile to get out ide just leave it uncapped for a few more days then plug it up

Yeah, it's not improbable that you will bleed residual trapped air out of the system for a week or 2. If you aren't seeing any water in the case anywheres then evaporation and possibly residual air are the problems.
