With 250 volts on the cpu, it might go fast as hell.
No, dont bother with it. Junk. It´s the year 2003 now, that cpu was hot 6 or 7 years ago. Because it´s an Intel, it´s not even worth as a keyring either.
A celeron 300A might be worth a few bucks as a collectors item, since it was (IMHO) the "breakthrough" OC'ers CPU. This guy doesn't even know what the chip is for sure. You could probably find celerons in this range free if you hunt around.

You want one? I've got one on a quirky-as-hell Aopen board right here. This was running my mom's work computer until it started spitting unintelligible beep codes at me.
Buddy J had the same proc. and a similar board and had it folding for a while. It took forever, but it was better than not folding at all.
This board would have been OK, had it not been made by Aopen that is. I overclocked the CPU to 500 (it's a 400mhz 128k cache) without any problems by raising the fsb from 66 to 83 (had no voltage options). If I had another socket 370 board I'd put the proc. to use, but sadly I don't.

I can't stop laughing at this. Yeah, it'll go "fast as hell" - right through the side of the case when it explodes.

Come to think of it, that's probably more than the sofa is worth...

(If I had a board for it I'd bid and put the guy to work Folding. )
