I have 1 corsair 512 stick pc3200 c2pt running default 333 in the system.

I have 2x512 Kingston pc2700 that can run 333.

Id like to add more memory but cant afford another stick of corsair at this point.

Should I toss in the kingston or just stay with 512.

System is not overclocked nor will it be..

TIA

Stick in the Kingston, I'd say - unless you're going for memory benchmarks. In real world performance, 1GB will feel 'smoother' usually.

Go ahead and use the kingston. Only a severe dork will be able to tell the difference in memory bandwidth during "normal" use.

Another vote on using the Kingston and have more total memory. :)

I'd stick as many sticks of the Kingston in as possible. You have an NF7-S right? Stick both sticks in for a total of 1.5GB :D

I got 1 kingston and 1 corsair. Id like to avoid mixing as it usually leads to issues.

Looks like the 2x512 it is. I can just toss it in. The board aint gonna be a pain and require a cmos clear will it?

No, I swap memory on my NF7 all the time.

hell i'd stick in the 3rd one too ^^ if it doesnt work you can always take it out again. whats the point of having half a gig of ram sitting on the table when it could be doing something xD

Yeah, just fire it all in, run a pass on memtest, and then enjoy the 1.5gb of ram :)
