NF7-S voltage fluctuations

I have an NF7-S rev. 1.2, Barton 2500+, Corsair XMS PC3200. I upped the CPU voltage to 1.8 but noticed in my system monitor that the readings fluctuate between 1.74 and 1.78. I'm thinking that this is contributing somewhat to the instability I've been having running anything above 181MHz FSB.

Currently I'm at 185x11, Memtest runs solid for hours without problems, but inconsistently I've been freezing up while in Windows. I can go several hours without any problems, or just a few minutes. I had originally attributed the problem to Photoshop, but it appears this isn't the case as the machine just froze up a few minutes ago.

If my voltage stays at 1.74 or above, does that sound like enough voltage to run at 185 or even 190, or should I work on lower FSB and higher multiplier OC?

I'm new to the OC game, so I'm not sure if there's anything else I need to do, like increase AGP/RAM/chipset voltage as well.

    TD,

I´ll help ya out here. I have the same board, but a XP 1800.

What timings are those sticks rated at?

Whats the max speed that cpu does at ANY voltage?

Thanks for the help Mac. The RAM is rated at 8-3-3-2, but it's currently running 8-2-2-2.5. The board will run stable at 180x11 with stock CPU voltage. Any time I bump it up above 180 I get random freezing.

    Right,

Turn off cpu enhance, enable DC (3:3, 4:4 etc)

Go up on the chipset voltage to max on the board, set the agp frequency to 66, pci enhanced disabled. Reboot.

Set the memory to 11,3,3,2 and dont be afraid to use memory voltage even if the memory is rated to do 200 at a certain volt. Drop the multi to let say 9. Reboot. Set fsb to 204 (max on my board in dual) or if you have single memory only, set it to 210. Run some tests. If it´s stable, go up a little more. When you reach where the memory is unstable, back off 2 fsb. There you have the memory limit. After that, let´s deal with the cpu.

I´m on IM if you need me buddy.
