The retail version is equivalent to bronze.

In America, you can still get CD versions.

I know in the UK you can only get DVD versions(or you can download from steam with the cd key)

The only way you can get DOD:S without getting either the Silver or Gold package, OR buying it seperatly once it's available.

THe best deal is the Silver package. For $10 more than Bronze, you get every game Valve has ever made, including Half Life: Source, and DOD Source.

Agree with TheSMJ - For $10, getting all those extra games was a treat - Half Life Source is a great way to replay the game if you want to get into the mood of HL2. You also get opposing force, CS, The original DoD, etc.

    Pay for free loot eh?

Anywhoo, silver cause I want DoD and all the old goodies. I was addicted to DoD and CS for a long time. But I ain't buyin **** until finals are over.

Man, making us pay for these once-free mods is awful. I got retail and I dunno what to do about DoD...
Hopefully some new (free) mods will crop up and they will be good.

No. You'll have to buy it on it's own (if it will even be available that way).

The regular here, I just want to play the game.

Side note - I caught a local retailer who put in the wrong price on their website so I purchased a copy for $49.95 instead of $59.95, that'd be CDN funds. :)
