Which Half Life 2 package?

edited December 2004 in Gaming

I'd upgrade the voucher to Silver at least. That deal is too good to pass up.

IF I buy it, I'll probably just go with the Bronze edition or the regular retail edition. No reason to spend any more than that when the only reason I'd buy it is to see how it looks... :-/

Geeky, you're such a weird gamer.

I will probably go with the Silver when I get it - thanks for outlining the options. But I'm pretty sure I ought to upgrade my Radeon 9500 to play it...

Gahhh, I want a box to add to my box collection though :bawling:

Prolly the regular because of that. I'll deal with DoD source when the time comes, really don't care too much about HL1 source.

Just get the Gold version. It comes with a special collector's box.

Speaking of, am I the only one willing to shell out $100 (after shipping) for the game + goodies? Am I really the only REAL Half Life fan on SM?

I'll probably buy the silver. I could just download Day of Defeat, but the steam servers will be clogged out the wazoo on the day of release, so I won't bother, I'll just pay the extra $10.

I don't think being a real fan is denoted by how much money you can spend.
  • edited November 2004
No, not by how much money you're willing to spend, but how much you're willing to pay for all the free loot.

IMO, the Silver package is the best all around deal. It's only $10 more than Bronze, and you get every game Valve has ever made, plus 2 extra brand-new games.

EDIT: Hey, who took a crap on my poll? :o
