Good GAG, justlookin. Between Bonzibuddy and any 5 of the searchbars, he would not be online, much less uploading graphics, Trogan.... It's a GAG\Joke or a screen capture from a box as a "before" picture.
I know that justlooking is one of "us", but maybe it was someone else who needed help or something. Also, how do you get graphics like that if they aren't screenshots from your own computer?
I actually played Metric Football from age ten through seventeen.
More than can be said by some, I hear...
In the days before cable TV we would watch BBC imports on PBS. I always rooted for Nottingham Forest, though that was likely due to an Errol Flynn influence. If things don't turn around for my teams I am going to have to consider switching back.
Shame N'ham Forest aren't the teamt they once were ...Back to United, how often do they show their games on TV?
I have no idea. See my next comment.
Is English Football popular in the US?
Playing it?
Yes. I would think that nearly every grade school, middle school/Jr. High, and High School that has sports in any form has a team. Girls teams included.
Watching it, or active fandom?
No. It has not yet found a place in our culture where you can expect to overhear talk of "soccer" scores in a bar or a 7-Eleven. Some noble attempts have been made to sell the sport to the American crowd (I'm old enough to remember Pele's entrance on the scene described as the turning point). The typical reaction among us Yanks is that it's too much running around, not enough scoring. (Sounds like my sex life... )
The exception would best be exemplified by my Salvadorean friends in the DC area. They would argue vehemently over a (Hispanic paper) sports news headline for hours, then settle their differences (for a day or so, anyway) on the local pitch. There are places in my old hometown of Arlington, VA where traffic is routinely re-routed due to pickup games.
All I know is that there are many United fans in the US but your not one of them but you can be
Well, one of the things I'm proudest about is the fact that I've been loyal to every team I've ever rooted for, do or die. Good times or bad, I'm still there. It makes the occasional championship that much better. Guess I'll have to stick with the Reds.

I want a Home Page like that!
First thing I'd get is that Free Lobster Dinner.
While enjoying my crustations, next I'd order some free videos.
Then I'd settle down for a long night of Keno and possibly chat with the ladies.
