I'm going to be building a new rig in the near future and wanted some input on micro ATX mobo choices.
I'm going for on board video, sound and LAN with this one, so give me some mobo suggestions, pros and cons.

    Chaintech 7NIF2 Summit

    nForce2

    -MCP-T 2
    -Soundstorm
    -Dual channel DDR
    -Overclocking support

All the standard stuff for the nForce2 WITH the nVidia IGP (Onboard video). Best mATX board there is, in my opinion.

Thanks Thrax. It looks like it packs quite a bit in a micro form board. I'll definately be considering that one.

anything with an nforce2 chipset that's made by a reputable company. I haven't kept up with mATX boards, but I understand that ASUS has an nForce2 mATX board, which you may want to look into...

If you don't need NF2 there are some good KT266 boards from all of the usual suspects.
Do you want something wierd? Try one of the old ATI Axion mobo. I think that Saphire built them. They have R7000 integrated video.

I have heard good things about the small shuttle boards, the MN31N being the nForce2 chipset version. It has some unique features that you may want to look into.

The reason I'm looking at Micro ATX is because I have space constraints on this new tower size. I need it to be a desktop type case with dimensions close to 17 x 17 x 6.

I need the board to have on board video, sound and Lan, because I don't want to deal with buying low profile cards, and any extra expense.

You definitely want an nForce2 chipset then.
