Hard drives roasting on an open fire...

Well, it would appear that I've been cooking the hard drives in my dual athlon system accidentally for god only knows how long. I noticed the other week that I was getting temps in DTemp of like 58*C on one drive, but I figured that there was no way they could actually be getting that hot... after all, I had a 120mm fan in front of them, right?

...apparently not. Somehow the fan got disconnected or something. So I've got these 4 7200rpm drives stacked right on top of each other with NO cooling. I just noticed this a few minutes ago. Stuck my hand in the case, touched one of the drives, and it was almost burning hot. I mean it hurt to touch it... so I said "oh ****", shut the system down, and poked around inside it. That's when I found the disconnected power lead. No idea how long it's been like that. I just hope I haven't done any permanent damage to the drives... :shakehead :bawling: :bawling: :banghead: :banghead:

//EDIT
Title changed to be more festive and christmas-y :rolleyes:
