Abit NF7-S 2.0 Shutdown

At 122-124*F, my board automatically shuts itself down with the two-tone alarm.

This is hampering my overclocking abilities. Does anyone know what it is?

I'm at 109*F at 10.5 x 211, I know I can go higher...But shutting down at 122*F sucks.

Turn off the feature that shuts the computer off when it gets to a certain temp, so that you are able to do what you want.

    It is off.

And the feature doesn't allow temperatures that low.

I have the same damn problem. I really want to bust out my motherboard and pound the **** out of it whenever this happens. My setting is also off. Recently i haven't been able to reach even 2.25 ghz because of this. When in the past i ran @ 2.3 for an entire week. Really getting on my nerves. Bios flashed to v 17.

Newest BIOS fixed the problem. Ramped the clockspeed up to 2.35GHz at 1.7v and hovered around 125*F during the prime of a hot day...Games played, everything smoove like budda.

Hooray!!! I know this issue has given you crap for a long time.:vimp: How are your temps at lower settings for comparison to the previous bios's?

    Al

I don't think that is that bad for a 2500.

Good deal! I think I will have to move up the the 18 as I am still at 14. I haven't done too bad with the beta and official 14's but have had 2 shutdowns in the past week when it got to tripple digits outside. I seem to do OK till my case temp reaches 33C or more. On a brighter note, I am getting the A/C vents cleaned next week and that should lower the room temp in my office. It's the only damn room that gets so hot.
